This Privacy Policy explains how MoneyPulse ("we", "us", "our"), a product of GreenVital LLC, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information needed to use the app, such as your sign-in identity
- Support messages you send us, for example by email
1.2 Financial Data (via Plaid)
When you connect a bank account, we use Plaid to access permitted financial information, including:
- Account names and account types/subtypes
- Transaction history
- Institution information
We do not collect or store your bank login credentials.
- No bank username or password
- No MFA or security challenge answers
- No sensitive bank authentication secrets
1.3 Device and App Data
- Device and app technical data needed to operate the app
- Push notification token, if notifications are enabled, so we can send notifications you opt into
- Usage and interaction data, such as app launches, screens viewed, and in-app events, collected for analytics, measurement, and improvement
2. How We Use Your Data
We use data to provide and improve core app functionality, including:
- Displaying balances and transactions
- Generating monthly summaries and spending insights
- Syncing connected institutions and account status
- Sending optional notifications, such as monthly summary notifications
- Providing customer support and account maintenance
- Understanding app usage, improving product performance, and measuring installs and subscription conversion events
MoneyPulse is read-only. We do not initiate transfers, payments, or withdrawals from your bank accounts.
3. Plaid Integration
MoneyPulse uses the Plaid API to connect financial institutions. By using bank connection features, you acknowledge Plaid may process your data under Plaid's terms and privacy policy:

Plaid handles bank authentication and secure account-linking flows.
4. Analytics and Measurement
We use Firebase Analytics, a Google service, to understand how users interact with the app, such as app launches, screens viewed, feature usage, and subscription-related conversion events.
These analytics tools may collect app instance identifiers, device and app information, and in-app interaction data. In the current iOS configuration, the app does not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) for tracking.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Data is protected using industry-standard security controls and TLS.
- Financial records needed for app operation are stored on secure servers in the United States.
- Local cached app data can be cleared by the user from app settings.
- App access protection may use device-level security features, including biometrics or device lock, depending on settings and device support.
6. Third-Party Services
We use third-party providers to operate the app, including:
- Plaid for financial account connection and data sync
- Google Firebase for analytics and app measurement
- Platform services such as Apple App Store, Google Play, and mobile push infrastructure where applicable
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can:
- Disconnect linked banks from within the app
- Clear local app data from settings
- Delete your MoneyPulse account from within the app
- Contact us to request deletion or data-access support
8. Account and Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your MoneyPulse account in the app:
- Open Settings
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm deletion
If you cannot access the app, email support@greenvital.app with subject: Account Deletion Request.
Please include the email associated with your MoneyPulse account.
Data deletion scope may include:
- User profile and account data
- Connected institution and account link records
- Stored transaction and summary data
- Notification tokens
- Subscription and billing status records needed for account lifecycle and compliance
We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days unless retention is required by law, fraud prevention, security, or legitimate dispute and compliance obligations.
9. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide notice in-app or by other appropriate means.
